About
I recently became a PhD candidate and am finishing up my dissertation. My dissertation is aimed at elucidating from behavioral perspective the nature of an inferred ancestor veneration cult and associated ritual practices in the Sicán society (950-1,100 C.E.), northern North Coast of Peru. This will comprise a part of my broader effort to put into practice the archaeology of religion and ritual. I am also interested in practical applications of Geographic Information Science into archaeology and am trying to set up a new training course for GIS in our Anthrolopology Dept.
